"Our
first celebrity restoration! Marianne's
dad found this old slide of himself
and his college buddy with Mohammed
Ali, taken during the 60's when the
world champ was in his prime. We cropped
and enlarged to a 5x7 print, enhanced
color and contrast, paying special
attention to their faces. "I
think you've done an amazing job restoring
the slide, especially with all the
scratches," Marianne wrote. "This
was a very special gift for him, thanks
to you!"

"Randy's
Ancestors" was an exciting photo restoration
project for us, requiring delicate handling
and extensive digital artwork to correct 140+
years of chemical deterioration, discoloration,
and decomposition. We provided him with 6 mounted
restorations in the original 20"x14"
size in time for Christmas. In his thank you
note, Randy wrote: "Just wanted to let
you know the photos were a hit with my family.
My brother and sisters loved their gift....You
did a magnificent job."

Karen asked
us to restore this photo in time for her mom's
80th birthday. To reconstruct the faces of Neomi
(left), James, Maggie, Vera, and Lillian, we
used photos of the 5 taken in later years. Since
this is the only remaining photo of them when
they were young, we made sure the results were
outstanding!

Photographed
at nine years old in the early 1900's, Sonia's
Grandpop has been lovingly restored for her
family tree website, with particular emphasis
on reconstructing his young face from other
photos taken when he was older. Sonia wrote:
"I LOVE what you did to the picture!....man
oh man...Grandpop and the Normanns are great
examples of your expertise in photo enhancement
and restoration!!"

This 1930's
photograph of Tom's ancestors from China was
laminated and had yellowed and bubbled over
the years. We enhanced the entire surface of
this photo by hand.

These two
"lovebirds" under their favorite tree
will be enlarged to poster board size for a
family reunion this summer, so in this photo
restoration, we paid close attention to the
smallest scratches and fingerprints!

Scratched and
faded, Norm had this mid-1950's photo enlarged,
slightly colorized, and restored to its original
beauty for his sister's 50th birthday. |
